Most applications are reviewed within 24–48 hours. Once approved, your profile goes live immediately and you can start accepting bookings.
What's the commission — exactly?
BOA takes 3–5% of each session fee. That's it. No monthly platform fee, no subscription, no hidden charges. If a client pays you $200, we keep $6–10 and you receive $190–194.
Can I set my own rates?
Yes — completely. You set your hourly or per-session rate when you create your profile and can update it any time. We don't impose minimums or maximums.
Do I need certifications to apply?
We don't require certifications, but if you have them (ICF, SHRM, CFP, or others), we feature them prominently on your profile — they help you stand out and get matched to clients who value credentialed advisors.
What's the Wheel of Life, and how does matching work?
The Wheel of Life is an assessment where clients rate themselves 1–10 across 8 life areas: Physical Environment, Career, Finances, Health, Family & Friends, Romance, Personal Growth, and Fun & Recreation.
